Location and Facilities
Oheneba First Step Learning Centre is located at Haatso, near Wisconsin International University College and the University of Ghana Botanical Gardens.
Our Centre provides a safe, secure, and enjoyable environment for children from age O to 4 years. The Centre has specially designed, bright well-ventilated learning rooms, state-of-the-art teaching aids, large indoor and outdoor play areas (with artificial grass lawns), and off-street car parking spaces.
Pre-School : Age 0 to 4 years, Monday to Friday, 7.00 AM to 3.00 PM
After School : 3.00 to 7.00 PM
We use the Ghana Education Service Curriculum, and adopt good quality international practices under the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. We introduce alphabets, numbers, shapes, pencil control, counting, matching, spot the difference, colouring, music appreciation, rhymes, news, painting, sand & water play, cooking, play dough, puzzles and many more.
We ensure each individual child is learning through high quality play, that’s tailored to them. So they develop at their own pace, having fun, making friends and learning as they play. Becoming confident, secure children who when the time comes, are better prepared for school. Not pushed, not pressured, but ready to reach their potential.
